    • No poetic puns or fancy frazes, just 3 words that drive me crazy- "I Love You"

    "Divorce"

After the flood of tears has washed away, eyes see clear through that cloudy haze that for so long has painted our skyline on the canvas of life
Off in the background you see not one but three bodies left crushed
by your silent storm of fears,
beneath the rebel of the dreams we once
    shared
You the artist, the muse in the dark. In splashes of red you create the flames of fire that burned the blood of our hearts
    desire
How clever you are, to use black to paint your final attack. Easily hidden from the eye of the viewer. Showing nothing of what is
    lost
Yet you will know and the dirt under your nails will never let you forget, that your hands dug the hole that buried our
    souls.

Oooh..... the powerful sentiment of this poetic piece is given vivid descriptors by your creative word use! Great writing!;)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
