do buses to wyoming stop here

    hey Mister
do buses to Wyoming stop here?
    i need to dip my
sinker fly into some swift mountain stream
i need to ride my horse flat out
    across the flats
i need to see just how fast time
    can slow down
i want to ride on the range
i want to ride in the rodeo
i want to ride in the wild wild west
    and pull my gun
    on Billy the Kid's
    sister
    hey Mister
do buses to Wyoming stop here?

This gave me a good chuckle when you said "pull your gun on Billy the Kids sister!, I wasn't expectin that. And "how fast time can slow down" Great. Good job. Blessings, W.

I'm just a cowgirl at heart, always enjoyed my horses and fishing, this poem made me think of all the wonderful years of yesterday. I bet any bus could find it's way to Wyoming... Lol Beautiful poetry my friend! Mary

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
