Do not forget

Do not forget

If I could spell

Your name in tears,

I’d weep forever

Just to see your mark.

I’ll not forget

Your hands on me,

Wasn’t just my flesh

You claimed.

You are the first

I ever thought

I could love

Forever more.

I know it was,

A fatality,

A road to hurt

I walked it willingly.

Do not forget,

Never lose this thought,

Everything I did

I did with a smile.

If I have lost you today,

I will live and recall,

What passed

Yesterday.

I remember now

The plans we made,

I shaped my love

On a dream.

Everywhere I look

I see your face.

I now have no right,

To sit here so,

In the same room

We loved in.

It’s what hurts the most,

Not the never to come,

But the loss,

The change,

That you and I

No longer belong.

love should be entered willingly. Exiting is not always a choice

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
