Do You Believe?

I’ve searched the world looking for my true love

Are you searching for me too

Do you have envisions of love and happiness

Like we all do

Do you reach for me when you sleep

Only to find an empty space

That not only lies in your mind

But also within your heart

Do you dream about me

Even though we have never met

Do you close your eyes and vision us together

Do you cry when you hear a romantic song

And think about us all day long

Even though we never met

One can only imagine the magic

When two souls searching for

True love come together as one

It would truly be a blessing from the heavens

To know my prayers have been answered

To know that there are

Two less lonely hearts in the world tonight

If you’re searching for me

Call for me and I’ll be there

From now till my last sunset

You will be my sunrise in the morning

And my moon-lit night

With stars shining brightly for all to see

When you see a shooting star

You will know I’m not very far

Close your eyes and make a wish

For only then

You will we receive

My sweet everlasting kiss

Gently placed upon your lips

As we hold hands and make our own

Foot prints in the sand

Remember always

That there is nothing our love can't withstand

If we remember that there is only one

Truly blessed man who laid down his life

For all of us

Just too show us

How much he loved US

He sacrificed his only son

So we may become one as

We follow his footprints in the sand

He is more than just a man

His name is God Almighty

King of Kings and Lord of Lords

And through his grace and love

As He watches from above

I will bestow upon you all my love

Carried upon the wings of a snow white dove

For you are my Angel sent from above

Honestly I feel like I will never be satisfied until I am right by her side permanetly. She sees me for everything that I am, flaws and imperfections, and loves every aspect as I do her. blanket commented on Do You Believe? 10-21-2009: Well, I see a few error, some are probably just typos but you can fix them when you get out of contest. ~~~~~~~Only to find and empty space ~~~~should be "an" ~~~Do you close your eyes and vision us together~~~~should be "envision" ~~~~~True love come together as one~~~should be True love HAS come together as one......if it doesn't have a verb its a fragment. ~~~~And my moon lit night~~~~needs hyphen between moon and lit since its a noun acting like a adjective~~~~ and all the He's and He should be capitalized if you are following standard procedure......now, I picked it apart so you can edit it later....its not a bad poem by any means, it is beautiful and heartfelt I just want you to make it perfect...love you!; Reply to Comment

I'm surprised there's no mention of a "Princess", but yet there is reference to her. :-) Do you really think there is such a thing as a "soulmate?"
