    Do you see what I feel

    Do you see what I feel

     

    Days so long a timeless nightmare,

    Fields of pain, endless and green,

    Days so long will they never end,

    Life ever changing,

    Filled with the unexpected.

     

    Poison flows inside me,

    Chasing demons I can’t see,

    Out of control my bodies weakened

    I battle day by day

    Fighting this thing inside me

     

    Will I win or loose no one knows

    So I fight with all I am

    And yet my pain and sorrow grows

     

    Why me I scream

    I just want to know ………..

    My anger builds,

    I look for something to throw.

     

    I just cant understand it

    Did I do something wrong

    Did I not live my life right

    Say all the right words

     

    Did I not do what I was suppose to

    Take care live my life right

    Then why am I left alone

    In the fight of my life

     

    I feel cheated and robbed

    Shortchanged my life done

    But something in my spirit

    Won’t let me give up.

     

    So I battle and go to war with this thing I can’t see

    Like a true warrior fighting this fight

    My tomorrow is mine and not determined

    By any one but me!

    this is right up my alley, bree. the darker view while holding out hope at all cost. well done and thougfht provovking. using words that strike to get the point across always holds the readers attention. this poem did just that...and so eloquently ! thank you.

    hello my love, u r my inspiration these days, and i have been where you are fighting , scared, angry, desperate, and yet hopefull, and expectant all at the same time. while my battle may have not been so long, and my releif was won by surgery, i still sacraficed much of who i was as a WOMAN, to be free of this thing.... but know your NOT ALONE, and ur battles not yours to fight solo.... ALL MY LOVE and PRAYERS, Bree XOXO
