    Does it really Matter?

Does it really matter, that in the end
    We all die wishing for
    Immorality and for eternal life?

Does it really matter, that in the end
Pain and agony comes to us
    In our final days?

Does it really matter, that in the end
    We loose faith
In God in life in everything?

Does it really matter, that in the end
    We are all nothing
    But dust and ashes?

    Does it really matter?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
