Dont Cry

Dont Cry

I never wanted to bring tears to your face

Give you stress or worries

To be forgotten or reflected upon as a regret

I never wanted to lose you

In the begging

I didn’t want to let you in

 I held back

Had my guard up

Didn’t want to get hurt

But in the end

You were the one

Who got hurt

Because I was selfish

Irresponsible and reckless

I do deeply regret my actions

I am sorry

I am alone

This is what I know

I wish I could take it all back

For your welfare

I truly do wish you the best

You are such a sweet Heart

Good night

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
