    Don't Question It

     I find them a little odd
    These feelings in my chest
    But I don't question them
    My heart knows best

    Whenever you are down
    I feel I must help you to fly
    To take to your glorious wings
    And once more caress the sky

    Whenever you are weak
    I feel I must protect you
    To be your sole bastion
    Hidden from a world so blue

    Whenever you are hurt
    I feel a need to avenge that
    As anyone who could harm you
    Is a villainously vile rat

    These are the feelings
    That burn now in my chest
    There's nothing to question
    As my heart knows best
