    Poem Commentary

    God's word is what we live and he said Revelations is coming.  Are you prepared? Is your neighbor?  My prayer is that change is so rapid that we surprise God and restore his faith in us.

    DON'T TURN AWAY
    Don't turn away
    I am here
    I speak
    wisdom
    into the air
    for the world
    to inhale
    the essence
    of acceptance
    and the desire
    of love
    the word
    is for all
    judgment has been
    cast upon me
    but I be judged
    by one
    who's mercy
    I seek
    solutions
    change
    and deliverance
    I pray
    for disbelievers
    to believe
    for believers
    to see
    that the time
    has come
    for receiving
    educating
    and saving
    my faith
    is in the blood
    that spilled
    from the cross
    I spread myself
    and ideals
    across the page
    to reveal
    the truth
    tears of sadness
    drip down
    my eyes
    the world
    I breathe
    is dying
    Revelations
    is near
    and so I write
    God is the author
    of this tale
    I am just a pen
    a pupil
    a vessel
    the ending is
    unknown
    so don't turn away
    listen
    because
    I may be gone
    when you turn back

    Besides a poet you sound like a prophet, Jeremiah crying out and falling on deaf ears. There is beauty and wisdom in what you write.

    Hi Aliciagall enjoyed reading this poem their be a lot of truth in your words. You can see it all happening througout the world, what it say in the book of revelations all coming upon us.By the way sorry not got back to you so long but been in Africa for a long while and not been on site anyway nice to have found you and great writing
