Dragon Tripper

I take a trip.
My mind slips.
Going right out of my mind.
Thinking up the perfect rhyme.
Lost in this place.
Picking up the pace.
Somewhere you will never see.
Somewhere lost inside of me.
Searching threw so many States.
Looking for this thing called fate.
We move right on into the wind.
The bright lights seem so grim.
Lost forever in a gaze.
Like the exit to a maze.
Always there just out of reach.
I sit here alone on this beach.
The stars in the darkest sky.
All the Angels as they fly.
Call out my name.
I take the blame.
Looking back into my past.
Seeing things that did not last.
Reminding me of my pain.
Nights alone out in the rain.
It is not so bad to be me.
A lost soul always free.
On my wings I take flight.
Always here like a knight.
Fighting back the hands of time.
Lost forever in my mind.
I see all things as they are.
Even if they seem so hard.
Just one look threw my eyes.
Could make the world realize.
We all have a friend as we sleep.
Like the ocean oh so deep.
Something there for infinity.
The one with us always Eternity.

EXCELLENT! it rhymns beautifully and the poem paints a very good picture in the mind of the reader. I especially liked the verse Fighting back the hands of time. Lost forever in my mind.

Wow I loved the flow and rhyming and the over all body of the poem. Great job. I give it a 10.

It rhymes. No stanzas (not that, that is a bad thing) looking over your poetry, you certainly have a dragon fetish. Nice poem.
