When you heard my voice, you hushed
And knew who I was from start
My first words were "I love you"
And immediately you had my heart
You gaze into my eyes so deaply
As I hold you so close and tight
Know that I will keep you safe always
All of every day and every night
Every little sound you make
I check to see that you're fine
Love every smile and coo you give
And quiet away every whine
You are my darling, my blessed day
I thank God for every moment I spend
I cherish all the time that I have
And pray it may never end
For my son, Dravyn
