    Dream

Roses upon roses filled the walls in this place,
and I stared so confused, at a heavenly face.

Laughing and smiling, she ran right through the walls!
then they all turn to petals, changing colors like fall.

They all hit the ground and change what I am seeing,
the roses have gone and the angel is weeping.

Her sorrow so painful, it spreads like disease,
a somberly feeling brings me to my knees.

The angel then vanished and darkness sets in,
before me a book, revealing my sins.

I'm reading intensly, flipping pages I try,
to find one thing that's good, as I begin to cry.

Not from the sadness, but the guilt felt instead,
when a tear hit the page, I woke up in bed.

Another beautiful poem from a very talented poet. I love the images that your words elicit. Who is the angel? Is the book the Book of Life? So muchis said in this poem. Maybe a poem about intorspection, and the guilt we can all feel when we fail to see the true valueo f ourselves. Still, beautifully written and another 10 from me.

This poem is lovely and very heartfelt. It's a really sad poem, but it's really good. And I like the rhyme scheme you have going.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
