DREAMS

I've dreamed dreams

beautiful and bountiful dreams

ingenius dreams, thought provoking dreams

all filled with million dollar schemes

awakened I forget

I've dreamed dreams

dreams that have transversed dimensions and brought me to vast places unknown

'i've seen cities, now ruined in their glorious splendor, and stood amidst unbirthed civilizations

oh how i've dreamed

dreamed dreams with such horrific scenes, I've awakened to afraid to scream

cold chills about my skin, terrible dreams as these I wish to never dream again

dreamed dreams of passion, lustful, and arousing so much so they seemed to be real

in fact so real i could feel them... taste them.. immensely enjoy them....some dreams my mere words can't describe

but oh how I've dreamed

dreamed dreams with reocurring roles that stick with me over the years,

these dreams i'm sure to see them again

like a friend who visits me again I openly invite them in..

but oh the way I've dreamed

This is a wonderful poem. Dreaming is what poets bring to life. Keep a journal by your bed and write down what you can. There will be something to expand on in your poerty. I have "lines" I have saved for years, they will be poems someday. Keep dreaming.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
