Drifting
Drifting like the wind in and out
of time and space,
circling around till once again
I see your face.
Never obtaining what might
have been mine,
I sit here again in and out of time.
like ships that pass in the nights
of old,
I feel there is a story being told.
One that's deep and full of wonder,
dare the stars spill out their plunder.
Filling in where love went wrong
creating a bond
that's true and strong.
