druidian dreaming

    druidian dreaming

    a cloaked figure silently strolls
through the enchanted forests of my mind

    a mysterious man still haunts

    my deepest love

    does he find

    i’m consumed by his magic

    as our kindred illumination

    leaves my hopeful eyes blind

    in each breeze

    a muted whisper

    a debilitating memory

    of a love

    left undefined

    abandoned

    my silly heart declined

    i will suffer in silence

    until our spirits may realign.

The other half of you. Nice work! Thanks!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
