    dry dog food

     

     

    molly never looks happy

    when her bowl gets filled

    with dry dog food

     

    reminds me of people

    at expensive restaurants

    ordering chicken ceaser salad

    as thier entrée – they eat it-

    but don’t look thrilled

     

    when i was a kid

    we fed our dogs

    alpo from a can

     

    it was meatballs with brown

    gravy and it smelled good

    enough to make me feel hungry

     

    dry dog food smells like garbage

     

    i think the only problem with

    alpo is that the dog would

    fart a lot  while we

    watched television and we

    would yell at him and

    make him leave the room-

     

     - a small price for a dog

    to pay to get a decent meal.
