Dying Embers

Dying Embers

There’s a dying ember in me,

The fire once there gone—

I wish to set flame upon it,

But is it possible?

My love long lost,

Where he is,

I have no clue—

But I wish to set flame upon the dying embers in me.

Hecate, Venus, and Isis,

I call upon my goddesses—

Please save me,

Save my dying embers.

My soul yearns for his love once more,

But that cannot be,

For he is no longer breathing,

And the embers in me are dying.

This is brilliant and my mere words are only a feeble expression next to this deeply truthful love call. Bravo!!!! Peace and Light, dah
