    EARTH CHILD

I call to you, whom I can not see,
To aid me in my time of need,
To send me forth into this nightly song,
To call upon this earthly ground.
    Aid me with mystical wonders,
    Dancing lights, and magical thunder.
Make the sky my darkened veil,
And let the earth tell my tales.
From the land and sea, all shall be
Within your arms, and connected to me.
For a child of the earth I am you see.
With its magical wonders flowing through me.
My name has past on a wisp of breeze.
    Be silent, be still
    Listen and see...

awesome, I live by that, Nice a Big10

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
