    ECH

    Is tagging graffiti?

    The Directorate tastes

    tangy tangibles dangling

    before Belief

    and frangibles.

    How to control?

    How to achieve?

    What's most important?

    What do you believe?

    A skeptic aseptic,

    a thief with Belief,

    a person anon,

    or one ripe in grief;

    err, seasoned or growing

    err, here or to come

    the pattern of people

    is captured in sum:

    Love and Destroy.

    Overcome.

    Grow and Adapt.

    Be “All for One”

    Create.

    Make.

    Work for good.

    Do, as you know,

    someone you love

    thinks you should!

    Be better than you were

    yesterday.

    And play.

    Play,

    play,

    play!

    Forgive and love

(Am I saying anything that hasn't already been said?)

    Don't kill.

    Reduce hate to speech,

and then drown it in the bathtub

    of apathy;

and buy a lot of stuff.

    Amen.

But, most of all, repeat after me . . . . (a catch phrase from some language schools here).

    You rock.

    That's English.

    Hello Cleveland.

    Now start a business.

    Spit in the sink,

    try not to think.

    Heavy burdens build strong walls.

    Vacant minds have longest halls.

Only an adept can fling words the way you do. I'm not in the least surprised by the excellence... I am only marveled at how you always manage to achieve it. Vin

Thank you Vincenzo. From you, that means a lot. I like to celebrate the frivolous. It's significant; like the younger brother of the "significant" who always gets overlooked. This poem kind of rambles but it has a point: that writing and expression is not the domain of the bookish alone - - people who scrawl their terrible, indecipherable initials on walls and everything else are trying to stand up - - however feebly. I just wish they'd create more creatively and and not be defacing something else sometimes . . .

Congo, A quirky yet upbeat and playful poem that is very enjoyable to read. ginga

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
