    Echo

    Voices in my head
    Whispering on my ear
Telling me I'm not good enough
    To end my life
To take away the pain forever
    That I'm unwanted - a burden

I took down all the mirrors
Because every time I gazed in one
I saw a girl long dead
    Eyes haunted and empty
    Staring back at me

I want to rip off my skin
    Tear at my soul
    To kill the echo
    Of these predatory ghosts
    Ringing in my head

    Maybe I'm better off dead
What reason is there for hanging on...

No one is bettrr off dead. Llife however, manytimes makes us feel this wayy. But we don't haveto choose to say unhappy. We always have good memories bu tsometimes dwell on the ones of pain more...Remember life is only as good as we make it. WE write our own script on God's canvas. So feel God's beauty. It is all around and worth living for.

Strong, I felt it loud and clear. I've been there before, I've found my reasons. Hope you found yours.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
