    • tear the petals off of you, make you tell the truth // Hole

    Ecstatic Process

Any thoughts I might have had
Evaporated when my eyes rested on you
    Emotions that overtook my senses
    Incomprehensible and indescribable

    Your love
    Glossy, diamond coated
Your love is like a diamond
Your love is like the feeling in the pit of my stomach

    It feels like a hole
It starts in my belly, my heart, my mind
    It ends in my soul
You stretched me across, like a bridge
If I go any further, I might just break

    Your love
    Finesse, delicatesse with extraordinary ease
Moving through me like a butterfly in the wind
Mexican dances that twist and turn
That's how it feels as you make my heart burn

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
