    Eerie Sadness

    Today the sun shine bright
    But a eerie brightness

I stand and stare at the deep
    Blue sky

    Clouds are white as snow

    But a sadness creep within
    The wind

I stand trying to figure out
    This sadness filling the air

    With tears running down my
    Cheeks

    Heart is crying and wondering
    What cause all this sadness
    So thick!

I seen a day like this once before
    Maybe three times are more

I cant stop looking toward the sky
    While this sadness continuously run
    Inside of me

I pray not to see a death come today
Please dear God let this thing pass me
    On by

Loneliness hurt alone with the grief
    Oh my Lord!

Let this sadness I feel in my heart my
    Soul descend by tomorrow dawn

I wish not to sing a funeral march nor
    Feel the touch of death

This day the wind is creepy and smells
    Of the blacken skies

This eerie sadness I feel making its
    Home over my soul

I feel it walking over my body today
Wearing me down like heavy chains
    Chains
Chains that weight by soul down
    So heavy my Lord
    Just chains
    So many chains

My heart is crying can't you
    See?

    So heavy Lord
    Oh,so heavy Lord
    Weighting me down in sadness

    Oh my dear Lord

    Let tomorrow dawn lighten this
    Eerie sadness as I dream
Let me wake to tomorrow dawn
With a happy heart and my soul

Wonderful poem. There are days we feel something is wrong. The Holy Sprirt is saying something to us and it is sometimes hard to discern the message.

My Dearest Candysears, when we anticipate, it always turned to be a negative one, thus the nervous reactions; great mental strain and nerve-racking wait for the day. Instead we should assure ourselves for all the positive outcome when we become nervy or uneasy.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
