so we both know,
you and i,
that im not to good,
at following,

but still when i fold my hands,
i accomplish to cry.

that i dont do things properly,
as followed by traditions,

im stronger then before,
and i wonder if its you or her to thank.

that i still get hit by temptations,
things you told us not to,

i am not the greatest person,

that i lie all the time,

that i do it for the best of others,

that i am haunted by the past,

but still yet,
you give me the strength to fight it back,

to allow me to get what i need done,

now if only shelby could see,

i have high hopes,
that you shall shine upon my efforts,
to be redeemed from all my running,
