    Embracing the Feeling

I love your gorgeous brown eyes,
and the way your fingers run through your hair,
I know by us being together,
we can help each other fight the things we fear.
    Whenever i'm around you,
I get a feeling of sweet sublime,
and i can only pray to god,
we will be together till the end of time.
    I love your smile,
and the way you wave goodbye at night,
this feeling we have for each other,
    just seems so right.
    I can't wait,
    to kiss your soft lips,
    and run through your hair,
    with my fingertips.
I love the way your eyes twinkle,
    and all your heavenly grace,
the way we feel for each other,
    we can only embrace.
I've waited a really long time,
to find someone to talk to,
and it makes me happy to know,
    that person might be you.
I can't wait to hold you,
    so close to me,
I'll be the man of your dreams,
    just wait and see.
    You look so pretty,
    and smell so fine,
    I know that someday,
    you'll be all mine.
    Now that i'm around,
    I don't want to miss a beat,
    because God sent me here,
to sweep you off your feet.

Very nice love poem. The recipient will be so flattered it will knock her off her feet. this well rhymed and metered piece had a steady rhythm and excellent word choice.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
