Envy.

While i sit here ina small vast of emptiness of this room.
i lay here in the cosp of insanity,
while the black and white of my mind meld into a subtle grey,
staring out as the wind passes by,
i am overcomed with envy.
A unlimited choice of life without bounds,
no boarders,
unlimited possibilities that sucome to my will
and make it to what i wish,
a lone heart, a hollow shell of what was my former being,
while i sit here -n- stare away in my envious glance

Charlex .. A deep internalization you have penned her pal. I emote the same way .. Life is confusing at best and we must accept the good with the bad, the joy with the sadness, etc ... Envy is just another of our unwanted emotions that we all experience at one time or another .. just gotta be thankful for what we do have ,, and not concentrate on the have nots. Be well friend. Ken

charlex, Somehow the subject of the poem feels like an introvert to me. Lonely, frustrated, and deep in thought. A creative piece that makes one ponder. ginga

thank you, Dano.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
