    Epic Lies

I wouldnt know love if it hit me between the eyes
Oh wait, maybe it did, or was that just a disquise,
A fashionable and carefully narrated epic lie,
    Constrewed and misconstrewed and dissected,
many a wound to be inflicted.

Call my name in the middle of the night,
think of me in the clear moonlight.
My eyes shown so clear and bright.
Standing strong for me, cause you wont.
Loving me and holding me cause you dont.

Is it a man that holds me close?
Need another round or a second dose?
The things that leave me feeling gross?
Hell no, I have me to hold,
Strong and intelligent the truth be told!
Im here for me honest and bold.

You say you want to be my friend,
more than that, it totally depends.
Im not just some sexy random trend,
I want to ride and feel the wind in my hair
Happier times with people that care.

It wont be easy, my hearts on ice,
Takes a whole lot of trust, not a roll of the dice...
    just recognize.
