Eulogy of a Titan

Eulogy of a Titan

I battle between rage and tears

The solid dance of mist filled fears

The sweeping grief held with hate

Reflects the mirror come to late

Inside the glass there lives a ghost

Within the wraith consuming host

The pit of powers lost and wrong

The evil seeps and is too strong

I’ve danced and died, over and done

My fallen gifts the sorrow won

I’ve lost the second half of me

I’ve lost my Yin, my soul can’t see

The depth of me dispelled in waste

My pride has bled the ground in haste

My passion’s fury is now undone

My purpose wanes, I’m not the one

Inside begins with forceful speed

The growing change of hopeless seed

As it grows and shows its final form

The shadowed wraith begins to warm

Inside of me, two now one

Changing scopes of expression

The lies of light left me dead

Come now darkness, take my bed.

Be one with me in foul bliss

Touch my soul with soulless kiss

Take my heart between your teeth

Bite and live to me bequeath

All the power of hatred’s game

All the strength of liar’s shame

All the death of souls apart

All the pain of eaten heart

I bow my head and give my life

Forge my blade into your knife

Use my will as yours conceives

My heart is yours, it now believes

There is no God with souls foretold

Only pain begins with future’s hold

Never again love conquers hate

There is no love, no soul mate

To cause me pain with utmost love

And kill the white perfected dove

The sacred hearts entwined in bliss

Shattered apart by demented kiss

Years I’ve lived with belief held tight

Unbounded love, I’ve lived in light

I was the man in spite of grief

I kept my pride with year’s belief

But now remains nothing left

Time’s torrid bliss bereft

My soul is gone, belief’s demise

My life is done, close my eyes.
