I hear the dripping of the rain.
I feel the heartache and the pain.
it's always there
it's always there

I see the clouds rolling in.
I feel the darkness from within.
make it go away
oh, make it go away

My heart's burning like fire.
My body's only getting tired.
take me away
please, take me away

I should of done it long ago.
But I'm a coward, yeah, I know.
so now I hate myself
I hate myself more

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
