Everything Is Nothing
Everything is nothing, don’t you see it,
What is will be, and what has been remains,
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west,
Nothing changes but the constant flow of time,
Men shall rise and men shall fall, rulers will rule,
And others will take their place, forever is a word only for the gods,
Everything is nothing, so please forgive me,
I don’t share enthusiasm in your delusions,
I’m sick of your materialism you understand nothing,
You chase after emptiness and fill yourself with it,
You seek divine direction to give meaning to your void,
Time is fleeting and with every second you are dying,
Everything is nothing, the whole world is a stage and we are actors,
Merely chosen by the age to take part in its fiasco drama,
Why question the script when you cannot change it,
Why question the script when you cannot see it,
The invisible hand that writes our destinies is not so petty as to glimpse to our errs,
Everything is nothing if you ask me,
No good no bad just nothing,
Why bother labeling actions and their consequence changes nothing,
It is noble to be good but don’t be deceived, the only reward to aspire for is a smile,
Nothing waits at an ethereal realm, nothings been there for a while,
Everything is nothing said the wisest man that ever lived,
Why do you haste, where are you going,
Why do you struggle, why are you toiling,
Why do you worry you should be enjoying,
The everything that will one day be nothing,
So cast aside your troubles and be happy,
Fill your eyes with tears of joy, love and laugh like you mean it,
For when everything is nothing, it will all be worth something,
