    Explaining myself....
    Fear-
    It's why i hide
    Fear-
    It's waht keeps the pain dwelling inside
    Fear-
    It douses my fire
    conceals and stops all desire
    to attempt to reach for anything higher
    So im stuck with the apples on the ground
    Which always ends up making me the rebound
    And so no matter how hard i try
    Alone is how I will die

    kid, our subsistence is due to the fact that we won't collectively climb the tree, and the worm filled fruit left over from the original sin is all we have left. fear is what has placed us standing dumbstruck at the roots of a dying tree...i think you've captured the essence of something we all feel, but are mostly ashamed to admit.
