     Stand face to face
    do you see what I see?
    we are here in this place
    reflection staring back at me.

    I looked inside beyond my flesh
    at times I liked what I was
    back then I was a terrible mess
    something about being in the because.

    I think about my life before
    I fell for illusions, so easily believed
    stripped down to my id's core
    it was myself I decieved.

    I paint the picture of what I want know
    changing colors now and then
    swish and swirl with every stroke
    rinse the brush then layer again.

    One day Ill finish this masterpiece
    grow rich deep down rewards reaped
    be all the things I want to be
    stop getting stuck repeating old beliefs

    A mirror is a good reflection of who and what we are, and what we were.......a good way of showing the mistakes we made, and the new person we are trying hard to become........................gogant

    I really liked this. This reminded me of something I would write, very similiar in some aspects. The only thing I would change is the last line,I think you meant to write 'repeating',instead of 'reapeating'.
