    FADE

Love HAS FADED, FROM MY DOOR,
    NOTHING LEFT, TO ADORE.
    SADNESS COMES,WITH A FEVER PITCH,
GONE IS THE LOVE, THAT WAS SO RICH.

CAN YOU TELL ME, WHERE IT'S GONE,
    IS IT ALSO, THERE ALONE.
    WEEPING BECAUSE, IT IS LOST,
    ENDURING THE AWFUL COST.

    TWISTING AND BINDING,YOUR VERY SOUL,
MAKING YOU FEEL, OH SO COLD.
AS FOND MEMORIES, BEGIN TO FADE,
    DISPAIR AND GRIEF, WILL INVADE.

THE HAND OF DEATH, GRIPS YOUR HEART,
    SUICIDAL TENDENCES, WILL START.
YOU SINK LOWER AND LOWER, INTO THE PIT,
PRAYING THE PAIN, WOULD JUST QUIT.

DRAWING YOU DEEPER, INTO IT'S GRASP
YOU'LL SEE THE LIGHT, AT LONG LAST.
PULLING YOURSELF UP, FOR THE FINAL FIGHT,
WILL YOU SUCCUMB TO THE DARKNESS, OR THE LIGHT.

I felt the pain of losing a soulmate, that friend and lover. It was like there was so much companionship shared. God bless and may yall meet again

This poem is very good. I can feel the pain in your words and the strength. The flow is good, but one part seemed to make me stop. THE HAND OF DEATH, GRIPS YOUR HEART, SUICIDAL TENDENCES, WILL START. Maybe try to word it differently, but that is only my opinion.

showing that you can overcome from such a tragedy is a great way to end this painful reality. you painted this picture with the flow and emotion. the picture produced was beautiful.great job

wow i can feel the sadness in this poem but i appreciate that you did end on a somewhat light note...i too have loved and lost but tis better than to have not loved at all eh? ur rhyming is solid but some parts of the poems beats seem a bit odd, but overall i enjoyed it and it did striek a chord with me

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
