    Faded

When I’m without the thought of you

    Far from your memory

    I feel so free

    Look there’s no pain

    No neglect

    Just me and a smile

    Just so free without you

    And your mystery

    No more unanswered questions

    Or abandonment

    I want you to know

    I want you

    And I hate the fact

What a waste of my Heart

    I needed your Love

    Your attention

    When It came to forever

    There was a Dream

    Now my night mare

    A cruel fate

That your mind is free of me

And I’m condemned to yours everyday

I just want you to know

    I want you

    And I hate the fact

    Your ruining my happiness

    Stealing my Dreams

Comparing yourself to every other in my mind

    You know what I mean

You made yourself such a big deal

Walking away without a single care

    Where you went from there

    I lie to myself

    And say I don’t care

In reality I wish I knew every detail

    Alas you’re the past

And not a very pleasant piece of it

I just want you to know

    I want you

    And I hate the fact

I sympathize with you on this one. I've written one myself based on a similar situation.

    thx for reading my work!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
