Fading Smiles
A smile spreads slowly across my lips.
As the cold breath exits my cheeks.
My secret escapade.
I think of a boy states away.
He's also thinking of me.
Melancholy distouch.
If I could hold you I would.
Tell me anything.
Say it in words, in mind, in song.
Paint me a picture,
we'll work it along.
I'll be your safe haven as the bass fades into drum.
