    Faithful to Faith

    Where shall I begin?
    In introducing this faith?
Shall I tell you of its virtues?
Or begin by giving its faults?

    Faith is who you are,
    Faith is what you believe,
Faith is your heart, your life,
And all your soul and beneath.

    Faith is what makes,
    The Earth to the Sun,
As we are to our beliefs,
As the sun is to the galaxy,
As our love is to our soul.

Is faith a magnet for you? Or is it a compass for me?
Will You attract it, or will I use it to find it?
Is faith a lamp or an eye?
Will You use it to reveal the world? Or will I use it to find it?

    And we shall surely fall,
But never shall we stay fallen,
For faith will push us back to our feet,
And we shall all rise to Faith.

And we people shall bless faith,
For, when the going gets tough,
    When times get hard,
Faith will pull us through our struggles and fill us anew.
What is it? What is faith?
It is almost as certain as the moon rising during the night,
And the setting of the sun,
The clashing of swords upon the shields,
    It falls and rises,
Faith is as certain as day or night.

Yet, for all we do not know,
Faith is neither blind devotion nor a perverse idol,
Faith is the willingness to believe what is to be believed.

Is faith a magnet for you? Or is it a compass for me?
Will You attract it, or will I use it to find it?
Is faith a lamp or an eye?
Will You use it to reveal the world? Or will I use it to find it?

    But I know,
    When times do get hard,
When the going does get tough,
    We will all lose faith,
And question our life and existence.
We lose faith and what we want to believe.

But faith in what’s true and loving saves us.
And we will stay in faith, we will live in that faith,
We live in Faith, for what is life without faith?

Is faith a magnet for you? Or a compass for me?
Will You attract it, or will I use it to find it?
Is faith your lamp or my eye?
Will you call to you? Or will I stumble to it?
Stay in faith, for it is the fruit of life,
It is your virtue, and your life’s meaning.

10 amen! faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Faith works by love. Perfect love casts out fear. The enemy of faith, Faith's name is Yeshua. He gave us His faith?

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
