***Fake Dream***

I Stand Alone In The Darken Night,

Searching For What I've Lost During The Daylight,

Seeking The Way To My Own Identity,

Trying To Show What's Left From My Dignity.

Like A Princess Dancing In Glaring Circles,

I Felt Complete, Needing No More Miracles,

Dwelt In A Crystal World, Nothing Was Missing,

'Till I Noticed How Fast The Time Was Passing.

As Isolation Sealed Its Grasp On Me,

My Caged Soul Wanted To Break Free,

One Simple Crack Spread Like Wildfire,

Revealed The Truth With Its Mire.

Here I Am Standing At The Edge Of Time,

Feeling Numb, For I've Lost What Was Mine,

Wishing For The Rain To Come & Wash Away My Misery,

OR I May Cease To Be!!!

It's been litterally a couple of years since I have been here. I have not written a single poem for just as long. Lately I have been feeling a bit alone way deep inside, and I thought maybe I needed to call upon poetry to keep me sane. This is the first poem that I read , and I realize, it is poetry that is calling me. Wondefully spoken Totsa, thank you.

Ur works to me are so 3 dimensional.. especially this one.. maybe it just strikes me that way coz ur on the other side of the planet.. idk.. but i think its coz ur writings are coming from within rather than from the surface.. good job tot.... MM

May be it's my Oriental Background that gives u this sense Music... but thx man 4 real i'm flattered :)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
