Fallen Angel

Poem Commentary

This is something I wrote for my donor before my last kidney transplant. There are a series of poems I wrote for her that just depicts my life as I see it.

Fallen Angel

As I plummet through the depths of hell
My soul, I'm wanting to sell
Knawing my brittle and weakend bones
Gods voice is now a distant tone
Left here to wander aimlessly through the dark
The only light comes from lightnings spark
I nor see, nor touch anything in sight
For this is hell, where everything is a fright
Every second my soul grows weary and weak
An angel is what my lifeless soul seeks
