    Poem Commentary

    Temptation is something we face everyday. In the morning when I wake up, I ask myself these questions and to be honest, I fall short. I don't make it everytime. Whatever your issue is, Remember GOD ALWAYS HAS A WAY OUT FOR YOU! THE QUESTION IS, "Do you really want to take it?" Whether you do or don't, just know that whatever you do, YOU WILL ANSWER FOR....

    Familiar Places


    Dark past and secrets,
    Should I tell?
    Should I come clean?
    Enter the scene
    Yelling, "Code Green"
    Should I tell the truth?

    Sexual passions and fantasies,
    Should I explore?
    Should I let it be?
    Plunge into pleasure,
    Feeling full measures-
    Should I feel it all?

    Money, Greed and Lies,
    Should I pursue?
    Should I pocket it?
    Should I chase it?
    Killing to make it-
    Should I just take it?

    Battles, failures and victories,
    Should I reveal?
    Should I unveil the curtain?
    Make sure I'm certain-
    Even when I'm hurtin,
    Should I confess the truth?

    All these familiar spaces,
    Places, events, things in my life-
    Here I go again.
