    Father I called
    out his name
    on my knees
    I did stay
    till I heard his voice
    it did say
    what do you need son
    as you prey
    I heard you
    before you spoke
    I hear the heart of those
    who call on my name
    don’t say my name
    as you use it in vain
    I am a jealous god
    don’t you know
    I will lift you up
    and drop you slow
    use my name
    as you live
    holding me up
    in praise
    don’t let your prayer life
    fade away
    keep in touch with me today
    I worry you may stray
    when you don’t call my name
    so take the time
    to pray
    as you call on
    his name.
