When one looks past the petty things that oftentake centerstage in their lives and begin to reflect on his mortality and his soul and his conscience.. this is the result.. this stirred so many emotions in me that is unexplainable..tears came into my eyes...no justification for killing no matter how we try to create logic out of it...its hard to rid the stain from your mind sometimes no matter how much one longs for forgiveness.. poignantly written and thank you

Very interesting point indeed! The greatest of all sins in the bible is to kill yet both militaries of today and past as well as even the church has used religion as a vessel for the righteousness of death, it is a paradox... One that we may pay for with our very souls... Thou shall not kill, unless it is for GOD or for country, hmm... I think not... I do not belittle those who have bleed and died for the freedoms we all take for granted but I do wonder if it is worth the price they paid??? To kill for a just cause, does that really cleans the soul from the sinful act of death??? Many good questions to ponder that youn poem raises to the surface, truely most people would rather not answer or even think of such things. I would would gather to say this poem is a masterpiece of perfection both on a poetic level as well as an spiritual one... Purity of the soul, journey well!!! Angel

Grace and mercy are beautiful gifts from the father but most of all forgiveness is granted to you. God will forgive your sins if you simply and sincerely ask.......
