I just choose to look past yours,

I’ve seen it.

Because I know what it’s like,

To be stuck in your shoes,

Feeling so alone in the world,

Not seeing that there is truly someone who cares.

Past the arguments,

I wouldn’t have found the real you, the you I know is there,

I would’ve just given up.

Because I know if I’m there by your side,

Because you are a strong person, you’ve stuck it out,

You can overcome them; we can overcome them together,

We are strong together, but apart we are weak and broken.

Because if you just dig a little deeper than what’s on the outside,

You are truly an amazing person that just needs to know that someone cares,
