Feel Anything

Feel Anything

Trading fists for hellos

Worn down, roughed up from underneath the bellows

Underdog under watch, washed up from the undertow

I’ll eat my own head twice

Burn my eyes out blind

Staring straight into the sun

We'll both reflect back as one

We won’t feel anything

We won’t feel a thing

Getting better only to make things worse

Too drunk for it to possibly hurt

The mornings come up strong

My conscious is just plain wrong

Do you remember how this goes?

This time we’ll take it slow

You won’t feel a thing

I wont feel anything

Would you wear my ring?

Swing to scratch up to bleed

Take the shirt from my back

Tie me on one; a branch

Let’s kickoff this show

I think you know how it all goes

I won’t feel anything

I won’t feel anything.

Would you wear my ring?

Swing to scratch up to bleed

Take the shirt from my back

Tie me on one; a branch

Let’s kickoff this show

I think you know how it all goes

I won’t feel anything

You didn't feel anything

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
