Festival Time - 2

Celebrating festival time with music was a treat,
A 'jubilation' with clean, lovely lyrics and rhythmical beats,
When we're celebrating this festival let's eat,
Food reaped from our lovely land, toil of our hands and feet.

Producing green energy from our sugar cane,
We can produce fuel as bounteous as rain,
Seize this great opportunity to cut our energy bill,
For this task is cost effective, we only need the will.

Think of this oh, great Jamaica as we celebrate,
Invest in our own resources before it is too late,
Shaking off fuel dependency make our own through pains,
For the reward of this is great and fulfillment gained.

So let this be a time of wonderful celebration,
Proud and joyous is this time for our Jamaican nation,
This is an important time in our history,
Jamaica! make effort to restore economic buoyancy,
It's deserving of our lovely island, our democracy,
Prosperity is for all of us, not only the aristocracy,
In past experiences we have seen trying tides,
Celebrate Jamaica! but be on God's side.
