    pounded walks
    to nothing more than figure eights
    wide spaces
    open vasts
    of terrains I've yet to discover
    awaiting feet
    stomping retreats
    for the soils to be disrupted
    inviting tracks
    miles unmeasured
    as the horizon reveals the unstaked
    heel excursions
    tread designs
    to nothing more than figure eights
