    Figure of Love

A dream of sweet innocence comes in a daze.

The twilight of the sky seems to fade.

A figure is seen but only in a haze.

The closer it gets only a shadow is made.

Pure love of the heart comes without fashion.

Soulful energy comes in a slow pace.

The figure is adorned with such a passion.

At the drop of a dime, it’s gone without a trace.

How eerie is this figure, yet captivating,

To hypnotize a creature with my deep mind.

I never thought sleep could be so motivating.

To sleep I go now for I have someone to find.

    Wow..thanks!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
