Fire

Fire burns
Fire singes
Fire can even make you cringe

It takes its toll
And scars your soul
Leaves you black and chard

It can mar your face
Leaving you without a case
Whack you an the head with a mace
And burn all your expensive lace

On a street one lane
It cannot be contained
It can spread from one to another
Leaving only a burnt timber

When you have everything
It leaves you with nothing

Fire burns
Fire singes
Fire can even make you cring
