    • Very excited and very grateful. My son Michael will be coming back to American soil in about 12 days I want to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes and strength.

    First Frost
    God blew a kiss.
    It hit the ground all sparkly,
    A gittery, white wonderland
    In this usually warm, rainy spot of Earth.
    I awoke like the child of long ago,
    Hypnotized by the mirage outside my window.

    A morning with frost still clinging to every blade of grass, and leaf of tree, is a wonderful sight. Very nice, indeed.....................g

    I have aphoto of my oldest daughter at 4 when the first snow of the year had fallen. That photo inspires the poem. Thanks for responding,mlea

    this is short but to the point as painting a picture one can see feel,,be apart of,,not many writers can do this ,,i am one oof them,,peace wizthom
