    First Love

     I was totally blown away
    at the first site of you
    when you looked my way
    I didn't know what to do

    My heart was beating
    as fast as it could
    had I had wings
    I would have flown for sure

    Suddenly I was frightened
    when you looked at me
    what did you think
    when you first saw me

    A beautiful smile
    came across your face
    my mind went blank
    I could no longer think

    Right then and there
    was when I knew
    I stood a chance
    with a beautiful man like you

    The warmth I felt
    for you in every way
    has remained in my heart
    forever and a day

    You were my first love
    tried and true
    forever my heart
    will always belong to you
