    For a Good Reason

     Since you've left,
    I've needed several crutches.
    Booze,
    Pills,
    Weed,
    Sex,
    but... most of all my biggest crutch,
    my biggest flaw is me living in the past.

    I've romanticized the past,
    made it better than it was.
    I've done up until now.
    My old journals,
    my real thoughts on the subject of you,
    have become rose tinted

    Did you brainwash me?
    Did I fool myself?
    Could this be a form of Stockholm's syndrome?
    I don't know,
    I don't have answer.
    I don't think I'll ever have an answer.

    Maybe I'm just a liar,
    or I have a vivid imagination,
    or I wanted to believe that it was all FOR A GOOD REASON.
    I guess not.

    I have seen others cry so hard over someone that made them miserable that whole time they were together. It's funny and sad how it happens. Nice write.

    Do what it takes to get over him then go on live your life you are worth it The poem is a good way to vent it well written and damed good Marie
