For Ardor

For Ardor

Your love elevates me, awakens me and enlightens me

Draw my trembling heart near to thee

Your touch, embraces and assures

Penetrate my sadness with your swelling strength

Your look is loving and promising

Preserve my soul in your buried blaze

Entangled me with your mysterious gaze

Immerse me in your secret fire

Prolong our ravenous desire

Hot and sweet, pure love's desire, as DMJ sets the house on fire!!!

So glad to set the house on fire and whatever else that gets hot, certainly. We all need that. What else can I say. Thanks for your perspective and constant encouragement.

Your passion fire is lit with your unique penmanship. No one can deny the fact .. your pen tip oozes volcanic lava.

Thanks, Britt. I appreciate your comments.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
